Golf Days

Golf days have been arranged on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 April 2013 to allow you time prior to the Congress to get a round or two in. We are pleased to offer golf day packages at category A courses which include the following:

• Green fees
• Electric cart
• Souvenir gift pack
• Transfers
• Tour Guide Commentary
• Golf playing partners (if required)

A different course is on offer each day and registration rates are listed below. You may select one or both days and this can be done online when completing your registration for the Congress. Once final numbers are determined you will be advised of the format of the day.

Monday 8 April 2013 - Gulf Harbour

Gulf HarbourDesigned by Robert Trent Jones Jr, Gulf Harbour Country Club is one of New Zealand’s top golf courses. The course has been likened to Pebble Beach Golf Links, and hosted the 1998 World Cup and New Zealand Opens in 2005 and 2006. Four sets of tees assure playability for every calibre of golfer. In particular, the back nine holes offer spectacular cliff-top views of the ocean and surrounding islands.

Pick up from SkyCity Convention Centre at 9.30am; return to SkyCity Convention Centre at approximately 4.30pm.

NZ$200 incl GST per person per day.

Tuesday 9 April 2013 - Muriwai Golf Club

Muriwai Golf CourseMuriwai Golf Club is a genuine links golf course. It is right beside the sea on Auckland’s rugged west coast. It is consistently ranked in New Zealand’s top 20 golf courses and host to several major New Zealand tournaments. The drive to Muriwai takes you through some of Auckland’s west coast wine-growing region, providing pleasant rural scenery; should time allow, we will take the short detour to view the world-renowned gannet colony at Muriwai which offers spectacular views of both the gannets and coastline. 

Pick up from SkyCity Convention Centre at 9.30am; return to SkyCity Convention Centre at approximately 4.30pm.

NZ$130 incl GST per person per day.

Clubs can be hired for NZ$30 per set.
